Purpose of SMS Messages

SMS messages sent through ReceptionHero AI are transactional and service-related. They are intended to help customers reconnect with a business after the customer has called the business and the call was missed or unanswered.

Example SMS use cases include:

• Responding to a missed customer call
• Letting the customer know the business received their call
• Asking how the business can help
• Helping schedule a callback or appointment
• Following up on a customer service request
• Providing business-related assistance requested by the customer

No Cold Outreach

ReceptionHero AI is not intended for cold SMS outreach, purchased contact lists, lead scraping, spam campaigns, or unrelated marketing blasts.

Opt-In and Consent

Customers may receive SMS messages when they call a participating business, request information from that business, submit a form, book an appointment, or otherwise provide consent to be contacted.

When a customer calls a business and the call is missed, ReceptionHero AI may send a response on behalf of that business because the customer initiated contact with the business.

Message Frequency

Message frequency may vary depending on customer interaction and business settings. A typical missed-call workflow may include an initial response and limited follow-up messages related to the customer’s inquiry.

ReceptionHero AI is not designed for high-volume unrelated messaging or continuous promotional campaigns.

Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply depending on the recipient’s mobile carrier and plan.

Opt-Out Instructions

SMS recipients may opt out at any time by replying STOP.

After a recipient replies STOP, they should no longer receive SMS messages from that business through ReceptionHero AI unless they later re-consent where allowed by law.

Privacy

ReceptionHero AI does not sell SMS opt-in data, phone numbers, or messaging consent. SMS consent is not shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes.

Businesses using ReceptionHero AI must use the platform responsibly and in compliance with applicable laws, carrier rules, and industry standards. Businesses may not use the platform for spam, deceptive messaging, unlawful marketing, or communications to recipients who have opted out.
